Revivals start when prayer spreads. What could possibly happen if many people started praying for one hour. What would happen if your circle of connections started praying for one hour. I challenge you this week to reach out to others and encourage them to pray for one hour.

  1. Today, I completed the one hour prayer challenge. I woke up extra early each morning this week to set aside time to pray. I enjoyed having your guide in this prayer time. Although each day I went through the same guide, each day God revealed new things to pray for or deepened my heart for. Practicing this discipline of prayer set the tone for my day. I felt more at peace and better prepared for the unplanned things that life sometimes gives you. I noticed that the prayer time throughout the week was exposing who I was. This was not a bad thing but a mysterious thing that makes me want to continue practicing this discipline of prayer in my week moving forward.

Thanks for your guidance and challenge in this hour of prayer.

  2. Ok, I'm trying this again...don't think it posted. I have been trying a 21 day fasting and prayer, not from all food but one that I struggle staying out of, peanuts. I have had some really good insight since laying them down and focusing on God. Thank you for the guidance of the outline, it helps keep me focused.
